Dr. Yu-Yen Lin (林佑彥, MD), born in 1987, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chinese Medicine and a Master’s degree in Acupuncture Medicine from China Medical University. He currently serves as the Deputy Director of Xiang Jun Chinese Medicine Clinic in Taichung, Taiwan.

Dr. Lin specializes in Chinese ophthalmology and holistic medicine. With a solid foundation in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), he integrates both Western and Eastern diagnostic and therapeutic approaches. He emphasizes pattern differentiation and holistic perspectives, firmly rejects folk remedies and quick fixes, and advocates for a scientific approach to traditional healing.

His clinical expertise includes the treatment of eye conditions such as dry eye syndrome, floaters, cataracts, glaucoma, and macular degeneration, alongside addressing systemic and psychosomatic issues like insomnia, allergies, metabolic disorders, and emotional imbalances.

Dr. Lin focuses on activating the body's innate healing potential through acupuncture, herbal formulas based on the Jun-Chen-Zuo-Shi principle, and energetic rebalancing. He explores the role of “mind” in health, believing that mental energy depletion is a root cause of many modern illnesses. He guides patients in self-awareness and transformation, using changes in visual clarity and emotional release as pathways to healing.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Lin is dedicated to health education, integrating practices such as Tai Chi, Qigong, and meditative cultivation into his therapeutic framework. He seeks to uncover the deeper, often hidden, factors behind disease and restore balance to the body-mind-spirit system.

In recent years, he has been invited to speak at high schools, universities, hospitals, and medical conferences, and he continues to pursue interdisciplinary learning in fields such as public speaking, health communication, and presentation design.
